An introduction to 3D parametric design with Fusion 360 takes place in Sants, at the Parc de l'Espanya Industrial. You'll learn to model useful everyday objects, from a custom keychain to a shopping cart. A free offering by Jose Luis Roldan. 3D design becomes an accessible tool for maker projects, from simple prototypes to complex ideas, yielding tangible, practical results. The session unfolds within the Parc de l'Espanya Industrial, a green space repurposed from old factory grounds.

THE VENUE
Located in Sants, Parc de l'Espanya Industrial occupies the site of the former La España Industrial textile factory, active until 1972. Opened in 1985 following a neighborhood movement that halted housing construction, this park stands as a testament to urban reconversion and land recovery in Barcelona. Designed by Luis Peña Ganchegui, Antón Pagola, and Montserrat Ruiz, its postmodern aesthetic features nine lighthouse towers guarding an artificial lake. The ensemble includes Andrés Nagel's iron dragon sculpture, which doubles as a slide, and restored pieces from the 1929 International Exhibition, such as Neptune by Manuel Fuxà, Venus by José Pérez Peresejo, and the Bulls of Abundance by Antoni Alsina. It offers a unique blend of industrial memory and contemporary art intervention.
