A Place in the City. Cineforum with Gabriel Silvestre

Cities, laboratories of inequality, pose a challenge: who has a place, and what are their rights? Gabriel Silvestre's documentary 'A Place in the City' explores how to redefine urban life from its foundations. Through stories of community strength and collective action in Rosario, Santiago, and Belo Horizonte, the film shows how social movements and neighborhood coalitions fight for the 'right to the city'. It demonstrates that the urban future is actively built through cooperation, creativity, and care, not merely imagined. The screening, at Centre de Vida Comunitària de Trinitat Vella, includes a discussion with the director. Organized by L'Aula Ambiental de Sant Andreu and Agrupació de Gent Gran de la Trinitat Vella, in collaboration with Centre Cívic Trinitat Vella.
