The venue
Espai de Gent Gran Fort Pienc
Civic architecture at the heart of Fort Pienc
Located in Plaça de Fort Pienc, the Espai de Gent Gran is part of the Illa de Fort Pienc, a civic facility complex designed by architect Josep Llinàs. This space, born from urban redevelopment on former industrial factory land, forms a social node in the heart of the Eixample district. It offers the senior community activities beyond leisure, from graphology workshops to cultural routes, energizing local life and fostering intergenerational and cultural integration within a contemporary design setting.
