In the heart of Raval, La Capella presents "All the Birds", a play by Wajdi Mouawad directed by Oriol Broggi. The piece explores the complex genealogy of Eitan, a young Jewish geneticist from New York, and his love for Wahida, an Arab student. Their journey to Israel and the West Bank is cut short by an attack, forcing his German family to confront a fractured past and the tensions of the present. With a cast including Xavier Boada and Joan Carreras, the play unravels the boundaries between familial love and hate, faith and reason, chance and destiny. A statement on how the past overflows into the present.

La Capella
Raval. Emerging creation in the hospital's historic nave.
La Capella, at Carrer de l'Hospital, 56, is housed within the structure of the old Hospital de la Santa Creu, founded in 1401. This space, originally a chapel consecrated around 1440, blends Ciutat Vella's architectural heritage with artistic avant-garde. Managed by the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB), La Capella is a benchmark for emerging creation, with "BCN Producció" as its main program. Its halls host innovative proposals, setting a cultural pulse in the vibrant Raval neighborhood.
