Anggie Obin, the Panamanian flautist refined in New York's vibrant scene and Berklee, lands in Barcelona. Her sound, honed in the jazz mecca, arrives in Fort Pienc with a formidable quintet. She's joined by her mentor, saxophonist Bill McHenry, alongside Estefania Chamorro, Toni Vaquer, and Masa Kamaguchi. A project recorded for Underpool, exploring the edges of contemporary jazz and improvisation.
