Contra Antígona is a theatrical work by Victoria Szpunberg and Andrea Jiménez. On stage, the conflict between the individual and power structures plays out through a rereading of the classical myth that questions the role of the Greek chorus in our society. The production shifts the tragedy into a contemporary setting where civic rebellion and personal morality take center stage, questioning the cost of symbolic gestures in the present day.
