The Barna Centre Merchants Federation shapes the commercial and cultural fabric of the Barri Gòtic. Since 1973, they've worked to invigorate its streets and preserve its historic identity. At Carrer del Paradís 10, this mission unfolds amidst the vestiges of the Temple of Augustus, where four two-thousand-year-old Corinthian columns rise discreetly within a medieval building. This spot, the highest point of ancient Barcino, testifies to the deep historical layers the Federation weaves into its urban commercial drive. Their presence highlights the intersection of the district's monumental past and vibrant present.
