In the heart of Vallcarca, Escola La Farigola stands as a benchmark of Barcelona's Noucentisme. Designed by Josep Goday i Casals and inaugurated in 1923, this educational institution replaced an old hostel, marking a milestone in the city's school architecture. Its facades, with two-tone geometric sgraffiti and semicircular arched porches, reflect a functional, serene aesthetic. Crowned by classic balustrades and ceramic vases, the school embodies an educational legacy that, led by educators like Maria Baldó, has spanned over a century.
