The Antiga Seu Editorial Gustavo Gili hosts the Barcelona 2026-2035 model, designed for the World Capital of Architecture. A core legacy piece, it will remain on permanent display. More than a physical representation, it serves as an educational tool, an instrument for urban analysis. It helps understand Barcelona's formation, its evolution, and the projects shaping its metropolitan future.
The model updates to integrate new transformation areas and strategic initiatives. It offers a high level of detail in buildings and urbanized spaces. This facilitates the recognition of neighborhoods, streets, and unique buildings. A precise perspective on the city's structure, volumetry, and urban fabric diversity.
Information layers are superimposed via augmented reality. Visualize the city's historical evolution, ongoing projects, and upcoming proposals. The model functions as an interactive platform, a dossier to analyze, explain, and imagine the Barcelona of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

THE VENUE
In the heart of Nova Esquerra de l'Eixample, the Former Gustavo Gili Publishing House stands as a landmark of Catalan rationalism. Designed between 1954 and 1960 by Joaquim Gili and Francesc Bassó, this FAD Award-winning building (1961) was the epicenter of a publishing house that shaped visual culture, introducing key figures in art and architecture. Its functional design, defined by natural light and a lack of ornamentation, creates a space that, since 2021, the Barcelona City Council is transforming into the Casa de la Arquitectura, solidifying its legacy as a cultural and educational hub.
