Catalan mythology, often overlooked, now reclaims its role as a muse for contemporary fantasy. Festival 42 unveils fifteen essential folkloric figures: from Joan de l'Os, echoing superhero epics, to legendary snakes à la 'Dragon Ball', and constellation-studded swords with Arthurian resonance. A visual journey curated by Laia Baldevey, illustrator and expert curator, completed by pieces from the Catalan bestiary, on loan from the Agrupació del Bestiari Festiu i Popular de Catalunya. Rediscover Catalunya's hidden imaginary.
