This cantata pays homage to Ildefons Cerdà, the pioneer of scientific urbanism. Composed of eight movements, the piece traces his rational and progressive vision for a healthy, inclusive city through the music of Albert Guinovart and the libretto of Esteve Miralles.
The Planns tip
The piece consists of eight movements, symbolizing the octagonal structure characteristic of Cerdà’s design.
