Gaudí left more than buildings: he left a method. This immersive experience by Mediapro Xperiences, curated by Galdric Santana, director of the Gaudí Chair at UPC, shows it to you from the inside across four areas.
You start with the keys to his code (geometry, functionality and symbolism) and move on to the XR Workshop, where mixed reality lets you try his tools and techniques as if you were his assistant. Next, a large audiovisual piece sweeps through all of his built work. And the finale is what everyone talks about: with virtual reality headsets you walk into projects that never left the page, such as the Hotel Attraction in New York, the Monumental Fountain for Plaça de Catalunya, the University of Barcelona's lecture hall or the Franciscan Missions in Tangier, rebuilt after years of research into his plans.
Part of the official Gaudí Year programme. The visit takes 70 to 90 minutes, runs in Catalan, Spanish or English and works really well with kids: virtual reality is recommended from age 6.

Espai Imagina
Glòries' new home for immersive experiences.
Espai Imagina is Mediapro's immersive experience centre, on the ground floor of its Diagonal headquarters next to Glòries park. It uses large-scale projections and virtual, augmented and mixed reality so you step into the stories instead of just watching them. It opened in September 2026 with Codi Gaudí, the Untold Experience. Closed on Tuesdays. There's no bar, but there are free lockers and a rest area, and Rambla del Poblenou is just round the corner for afterwards.
