Toni Hervàs presents Noche de Gimnàs de Còmic Performance, a piece integrated into the 14th edition of the Barcelona live arts festival Sâlmon. The artist, winner of the 2016 Premi Ciutat de Barcelona, uses drawing as an archival methodology and builds his work starting from fanzine culture. At the Sala Ovidi Montllor, he stages an adaptation of a Jacques Offenbach operetta within this Gimnàs de còmic performance structure. The work examines performance through irony and the mechanics of humor.
