Concha Ibáñez: Geographies of Memory arrives at the Museu d'Art de Girona to mark the centenary of the artist's birth. It is the first exhibition dedicated to her work in Catalonia since her passing in 2022. The show moves away from an anthological format to focus on the landscape, a recurring motif throughout her career. On display are series of works depicting places revisited through the memory of her travels, where the artist applied a restricted, personal color palette. An exploration of her internal geography.
