Poble Espanyol in Barcelona opens its doors for a family-friendly Halloween experience, blending laughs, costumes, and a few frights. From October 17th to November 1st, the venue transforms for themed activities. Expect a journey through mysteries and legends where fantastic creatures come alive. Two versions of the mysterious tunnels are available: HAUNTED, with gentle scares for ages 2+, and SCREAM, more intense for ages 7+. Activities include brewing a magic potion with the witch Arsènia, storytelling about trapped spirits, and Halloween-themed magic shows and dances. All events take place across Poble Espanyol, from Plaça Aragonesa to Plaça Castellana.
The Planns tip
With young children, opt for the HAUNTED version of the tunnels and arrive early to enjoy the first activities.

The venue

Poble Espanyol
Miniature Spain, Major Art
Conceived for Barcelona's 1929 International Exposition, Poble Espanyol evolved from a temporary concept into a permanent open-air architectural museum in Montjuïc. Its 117 buildings recreate Spain's architectural diversity, from Andalusian alleys to Catalan Romanesque monasteries. The site also features live artisan workshops and the Fran Daurel Museum, with works by Picasso, Dalí, and Miró. A condensed journey through the peninsula's cultural richness.
