The MIFDB's 'Conegudes i reconegudes' program travels through Barcelona with a cycle of Catalan feminist cinema. It focuses on disseminating works by female filmmakers from Catalonia, fostering critical reflection on audiovisual narratives and gender roles. The selection features recent pieces addressing topics such as abortion, armed conflict, migration, and social reintegration. The aim is to bring these films to various locations, reshaping narratives of female experiences.
