The Diada Històrica Castellera de la Mercè is a fundamental date in the casteller world. Plaça Sant Jaume hosts the most outstanding high-difficulty 'colles' (teams), invited by Castellers de Barcelona. A spectacle to the rhythm of the 'gralles' (pipes) as human teams erect their imposing structures. This year's edition features Minyons de Terrassa and Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls. The parade starts at Camp Nou, culminating in the heart of the Barri Gòtic.
