Next Wednesday, October 7, La CINC of Apolo in Poble-sec hosts another DJ Forum. Designed for Barcelona’s DJ community, this gathering aims for constructive dialogue on the local scene. Amidst cultural saturation and rising competition, topics include EPK design, critical thought against algorithmic dystopia, and ethics in culture and community. After a brief intro of attending collectives and DJs, the decks open for a B2B vinyl and digital jam until midnight. The goal: a safe, productive space to debate challenges, frictions, and suggest concrete improvements. Entry is free; pre-registration required for the debate and networking session.
The Planns tip
Give advance notice if you want to spin at the B2B jam; spots go fast and direct access to the booth is limited.

THE VENUE
Nestled in the heart of Poble-sec, Sala Apolo is a true benchmark of Barcelona's cultural pulse. Tracing its roots back to the early 20th century, it began as an amusement park, then evolved into a dance hall, roller skating club, and ultimately, a musical epicenter. Its Art Deco architecture shines through with intricate mirror, wood, and stucco details. Today, its diverse venues host a daily lineup of concerts and club nights, spanning a wide array of genres and championing both established and rising artists. Sala Apolo's journey is intrinsically woven into the city's cultural DNA.
