Dramatized Reading of "Josafat"

Sala La Planeta in Girona hosts a dramatized reading of "Josafat," an adaptation of Prudenci Bertrana's novel, on September 15th at 8 PM. This free event commemorates the 120th anniversary of the novel's publication and honors Joan Ribas, the original director of a previous, controversial adaptation. Albert Reverendo Mascort directs this staging, reclaiming the power of a text banned from Girona's Holy Week celebrations two decades ago. Fundació Bertrana coproduces this event, aiming to revisit a Catalan literary classic with a modern, provocative interpretation.
