Casal de Barri Can Travi de la Vall d'Hebron
Civic architecture: white and grid in Vall d'Hebron.
On Avenida Cardenal Vidal Barraquer, the Casal de Barri Can Travi de la Vall d'Hebron stands as a public architectural piece from after 2000. Its contemporary design features a predominantly white facade where the play of openings creates a visual grid, evoking a chessboard. Beyond its physical form, this facility serves as a cultural and civic hub for the neighborhood. It energizes local life through a program of workshops, exhibitions, and 'Consell de Barri' sessions, fostering a space for community gathering and participation.
