Europa, a Story of Violation: Art Confronts Classical Myths

At Biblioteca Clarà, Miquel del Pozo delivers a new lecture on the artistic representation of classical mythology. Titled 'Europa, a Story of Violation,' the session examines how painting and sculpture have depicted ancient narratives, often overshadowing the rawness of the original stories. Works born from literary texts will be analyzed to understand the image that emerges from the written word. Free entry.
