The third edition of Extramurs, a Museu Tàpies initiative, launches with Grec 2026. A proposal in collaboration with Eina and La Capella, it frames the city as a space for intervention, mediation, and critical thought. Dora García (Valladolid, 1965) is the invited artist. Her practice, rooted in performance, narration, and collective psychology, explores the spectator, dissident voices, and alternative narratives. 'Línies de Temps / resurrección' is her project. A series of interventions, performative actions, collective investigations unfolding across public space, the museum, the city and its symbolic margins. The central conceptual axis is resurrection as justice. A critical, political, historical tool to address violence, exclusion, and resistance in the present. Literary, musical, and political sources inspire it: Mayakovsky, Gal Costa, Sylvia Rivera, Benjamin, Canetti. A radical demand for the silenced, the violated, to speak again, to exist, to transform. Gal Costa's 'O Amor,' based on a Mayakovsky poem, articulates this cry: "Ressuscita'm, encara que només sigui perquè sóc poeta i anhelava el futur" («Resurrect me, if only because I am a poet and longed for the future»). A justice that dismantles oppression. García proposes an exercise in listening, in collective interpellation. The past is an active force questioning dominant discourses, power structures. Resurrection symbolically repairs injustices, activates memory, redoes what was interrupted. Shared spaces for questioning, listening, resistance.
