Fifty years after the Primeres Jornades Catalanes de la Dona, Filmoteca maps feminist influence in Catalan cinema. This program explores how the movement's ideas and demands reshaped the way of feeling, thinking, and creating images. Nine new works engage with the foundational pillars of those conferences: Work, Neighborhoods, Family, Education, Media, Politics, Legislation, Rurality, and Sexuality. A journey through fragments, video art, and television reports, all by women filmmakers, produced between 1976 and the present. A selection primarily from the Filmoteca's archive, complemented by screenings and encounters with feminist creators and thinkers. Curated by Alexandra Laudo, with Marta Selva and Anna Solà as advisors.
