Gamelan Barasvara performs Balinese gamelan music at El Pumarejo. As the only group of its kind in the country, they serve as the resident ensemble for the Museu de la Música de Barcelona. Their repertoire explores the sounds and rhythmic structures inherent to this Indonesian musical tradition. The session moves these traditional instruments from their standard museum setting into a cultural venue in the metropolitan area.
