Gràcia Territori Sonor (GTS) is the indomitable force behind experimental music in Barcelona and Catalonia. Since 1996, with the vision of Víctor Nubla, Juan Crek and a team of pioneers, they have forged an unparalleled legacy with over a thousand sound actions: concerts, workshops, and talks that have defined an era. Beyond its records and publications, and its 'Música i Geografia' program on Ràdio Gràcia, GTS has created iconic platforms like Microtopies, Laboratori Àgape and, above all, Dispositiu LEM, a cornerstone of European sound experimentation for four generations. Now, for its 30th anniversary, La Virreina Centre de la Imatge presents its first major monographic exhibition: an immersion into its vast audiovisual, photographic, and editorial archive, reviving its uncompromising trajectory.

Palau de la Virreina
Palau de la Virreina: Baroque memory, visual culture.
At Rambla 99, the Palau de la Virreina is an 18th-century Catalan Baroque civil architecture icon. Commissioned by Manuel Amat i Junyent, Viceroy of Peru, its construction (1772-1778) brought his vision to life. After his passing, his widow, Maria Francesca de Fiveller, occupied the palace, giving it the name it bears today. Its symmetrical facade and double-staircase courtyard are defining architectural features. Currently, it's home to the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona and the Virreina Centre de la Imatge, a hub for temporary photography and visual arts exhibitions, plus the Gegants de la Ciutat.
