The Canta mine in La Vajol opens its doors the third Saturday of every month for a guided tour exploring its history as a refuge and repository for the Republican Government’s assets during the Civil War. The route leads into the vault where precious metals and art collections were stored under the supervision of Juan Negrín Mijailov, son of Juan Negrín López. The visit costs 7 euros and requires prior registration through the Museu de l'Exili or the La Vajol town hall.
