Diego Ares performs a selection of works by Antoni Soler on the harpsichord at the Petit Palau within the Palau de la Música Catalana. The repertoire features eleven sonatas alongside the Prelude and Fandango. Ares, who began his harpsichord training at fourteen following initial piano studies with Aleksandras Jugelionis and Aldona Dvarionaitė, tackles this pillar of the Spanish Baroque. A technical approach to Soler's sonic architecture in an intimate setting.
