Orfeó Català hosts the Joan Guinjoan Day, a concert in the Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera neighborhood dedicated to the Girona-born composer. The evening, featuring the Ensemble Contemporani de l'ESMUC conducted by Ernest Martínez Izquierdo, presents a program focused on Guinjoan's works: "Homenatge a Carmen Amaya", "Màgic", "Jondo", "Per l'esperança", "Tensión relax", "Quartet núm. 1", "Tríptico", and "Fantasía".
