I Know the Suffering I Don't Know: The Paradox of Others' Pain in Art

Drawing empathy in the dark.

FREECentre Cívic Ateneu Fort Pienc

Artist Glòria Giménez Carrillo explores empathy through drawing. In this exhibition, she confronts the need to connect with the suffering of others via a singular creative process: drawing in the dark, guided by projections of digital images. An experience that confronts the viewer with distance and memory, proposing an act of presence and responsibility towards the shadow of the other. Project at the Centre Cívic Ateneu Fort Pienc.
