Emerging from 70s Mexico, Infrarealism brought a radical poetic proposal. Mario Santiago Papasquiaro, with his 1976 Manifesto, fused life and art to dismantle hegemonic literature. This exhibition unearths nearly 200 pieces: letters, poems, books, and fanzines that sketch a movement of young poets, heirs to European and Latin avant-gardes. Roberto Bolaño is the most recognized face, but the network was far broader.
The Planns tip
José Carlos Becerra's etchings are in the adjoining room; worth the detour.
