The Museu d'Art de Girona examines how material objects acted as vessels for transcendence during the Middle Ages. This exhibition shifts the focus from the aesthetic value of the pieces to their symbolic and spiritual function, drawing on a collaboration between several Catalan museums curated by Marc Sureda and Alberto Velasco.
