The Work and the Space · Approaching Miró through his archives. The Fundació Joan Miró presents "Cercles," a new interpretation curated by Teresa Montaner and Marta Ricart. This proposal centers on the inseparable pairing Miró established between his art and its surrounding space. It draws inspiration from his work folders from the fifties and sixties, documents that reflect a new relationship between people and art. The exhibition reawakens this intuition, creating a multifaceted experience: work, space, visitor.
Sert and the Environment · The interior-exterior dialogue. Josep Lluís Sert's architecture plays a vital role. Miró and Sert previously collaborated to conceive specific spaces for specific works. This logic is rekindled, allowing the building to dictate rhythms, perspectives, and thresholds. The Jardí dels Xiprers opens to the public, expanding the dialogue between interior and exterior, connecting the works with light and their surroundings. Over a hundred pieces, made possible by foundational generosity.
