  • Filmoteca de Catalunya

The Filmoteca de Catalunya dedicates a series to the centenary of John Berger, a key 20th-century figure. The program explores the ties between his thought and cinema with two illustrated talks and two intimate portraits. The first talk, by Valentí Roma, focuses on his television and film work. The second, with Enrique Fibla and Gerard Cañadas, discusses Spanish emigration to Europe. The portraits feature Berger's relationship with Tilda Swinton in "The Seasons in Quincy: Four Portraits of John Berger" and a tribute by Isabel Coixet. The series takes place in El Raval.
