THE VENUE
The KBr - Barcelona Photo Center, at Av. Litoral 30 in Port Olímpic, seamlessly integrates with Torre Mapfre's contemporary architecture and its curved volumes. Opened by Fundación MAPFRE in 2020, its name nods to potassium bromide, vital for analog developing. This hub, dedicated to artistic photography, boasts 1,400 m² across two exhibition halls, plus spaces for education and a bookstore, making it an epicenter for visual literacy. Showcasing 20th-century masters and contemporary photographers, it solidifies Barcelona's photographic tradition, projecting it globally from Sant Martí.
