L'Hospitalet de Llobregat commemorates Democratic Memory Day with an institutional event at the Museu de L'Hospitalet - Can Riera. The tribute acknowledges the fight for freedom and social justice by men and women who endured violence, repression, or exile during the Civil War and Franco's dictatorship. Participants include Memorial Democràtic, Treballadors SEAT, Associació Cultural Poètica Luz de Luna, Escola Municipal de Música - Centre de les Arts (EMMCA), and Institut Mercè Rodoreda. The ceremony takes place by the Pont de la Llibertat sculpture at 6 PM.
