The Gran Teatre del Liceu presents "La rosa dels set pètals," a community opera created with the Sant Andreu district. Following "La gata perduda" (2022/23), this new production reinforces the Liceu's Opera Prima initiative: artistic creation, community mediation, cultural rights.
Libretto by Blanca Bardagil, music by Tomàs and Lucas Peire, stage direction by Israel Solà. The work actively involves residents and organizations from the seven neighborhoods: El Congrés i els Indians, Navas, La Sagrera, Sant Andreu de Palomar, La Trinitat Vella, Baró de Viver, and El Bon Pastor. A reflection of the district's identity, historical memory, and associative tradition.
Opera Prima is a three-dimensional project connecting operatic creation with a mediation process. It promotes diversity, equity, and access to opera. From writing to performance, it culminates on the Liceu's main stage, solidifying opera as a driver of social transformation.
