Mercat Montserrat, at the heart of Les Roquetes, reopened its doors on March 21, 2026, redefining its presence in Nou Barris. This new 10,000 m² building, a €20 million investment by ONA Arquitectes, seamlessly blends with local topography, foregoing a conventional main facade. It features ceramic, natural stone, and ribbed bronze. Beyond sixteen food stalls and a bar, it hosts a supermarket, pharmacy, and community areas like a cooking classroom and meeting rooms — a true hub for the district.
