Les distàncies is a co-production between Sala Beckett and the Théâtre Sortie de Secours in Quebec. Written by Mercè Sarrias Fornés, the play investigates physical, emotional, and cultural distances between individuals. The author, a graduate in Information Sciences trained at the theater's own laboratories, shifts her narrative to the urban landscape outside, engaging in a direct dialogue with the architecture of Poblenou. The piece challenges the mechanics of how bodies interact and occupy public space.
