Nosaltres, mortals is the theatrical piece by Associació Amor Vacui written by Sara Sors. The work stems from documentary research into the history of women's prisons and the origins of the penitentiary system in the region. The performance uses the stage of the Teatre Municipal Berga to dissect this institutional memory. It is a historical piece that translates mechanisms of control and confinement into the present day.

Teatre Municipal de Berga
Modernism and live arts: Berga's stage.
The Teatre Municipal de Berga, located at Rda. de Queralt, 15, is the cultural heart of the town center. Built by private initiative in the early 20th century and opened in 1913, its design is attributed to Ignasi Maria Colomer. The building retains Modernista features in its wrought-iron railings and ornamental tiles. After serving as a cinema from 1955 to 1984, it was converted into a municipal theater. With a capacity for 711 spectators, its program includes theater, music, and dance, promoting local and regional performing arts.
