The venue

Casa Bartomeu
Noucentista elegance, musical echo.
In Pedralbes, Casa Bartomeu evokes early 20th-century Mediterranean Noucentisme. Listed as a Local Cultural Asset, it was the hub of intense musical activity, driven by patron Josep Bartomeu i Granell. Its terracotta and stucco facades, featuring classical elements, open onto a multi-tiered Jardí dels Tarongers with a small temple. Interiors with tapestries by Antoni Vila i Arrufat and musical ornaments narrate a past where Montserrat Caballé debuted. Today, it hosts the Consell Català de la Música, maintaining its cultural beat.
