Guitarist Pablo Sainz Villegas presents a recital at Orfeó Català, in the Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera neighborhood, on the 10th at 8 PM for €38. The sonic journey spans key guitar repertoire, featuring works by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Federico Coll, Johann Sebastian Bach, Joaquín Turina, and Spanish romantic masters Isaac Albéniz and Agustín Barrios Mangoré. Villegas will perform his arrangement of Bach's Partita No. 2 for violin. An evening for focused listening in one of the city's historic auditoriums.
