Spanning 17 hectares, Parc Central de Nou Barris is one of the city's largest green spaces. Opened in 1999 under architects Andreu Arriola and Carme Fiol, the site blends urban nature with rigorous architectural structure. The layout uses extensive garden zones and retaining walls to create a long path that cuts through the district, well away from the density of the historic center.
