THE VENUE
El Mercat de la Barceloneta, inaugurado en 1884, presenta la distintiva arquitectura del hierro de Antoni Rovira i Trias. Este centenario enclave, reconstruido tras los bombardeos de la Guerra Civil, experimentó una remodelación integral en 2007, a cargo de Josep Miàs. La intervención respetó su estructura original de forja, integrando tecnología como las placas solares, pioneras en mercados barceloneses. Funcionalmente, ha trascendido su esencia marinera, consolidándose como eje comercial y culinario del barrio, un testimonio de la evolución urbana en Ciutat Vella.
