Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Fazil Say perform Beethoven and Szymanowski

Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Fazil Say present a violin and piano recital at Orfeó Català, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera, Sunday at 17:30 for €38. The program marks the Beethoven bicentenary with works by Szymanowski, Say, Kopatchinskaja, and Beethoven himself. Beethoven’s 'Kreutzer' Sonata concludes the evening.

The performance spans the intimacy of Szymanowski’s 'Mythes' to the emotion of Fazil Say’s 'Crits Perduts' sonata, with the violinist’s 'UniSolo' piece as a personal interlude. The Orfeó Català hall, with its distinctive acoustics, sets the stage for this musical encounter.
