A talk on forms of intelligence in plants will be held at the Jaume Fuster Library, in the Vallcarca i els Penitents neighborhood, at 6:30 PM. Paco Calvo Garzón will present an interdisciplinary approach integrating ecological psychology, plant biology, and cognitive science to examine how plants perceive, process information, and act in their environment. The tendency to place human intelligence at the evolutionary apex will be questioned, reflecting on the implications of recognizing plants as key players in ecosystems. The event is in collaboration with Parcs i jardins.
