An information booth about the consequences of a stroke sets up at Mercat del Ninot in the Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample neighborhood. The initiative, promoted by the Asociación Vidas tras un Ictus, aims to raise awareness about the condition and offer support to those affected, their families, and close circles. The meeting point, in the heart of this Barcelona market, opens from 10:30 AM. Attendance is paid.

THE VENUE
Nestled in Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample, Mercat Ninot goes beyond its market function. Its name harks back to the figurehead that, in the late 19th century, overlooked a local tavern—a social heart of the neighborhood. The iron structure, a listed Cultural Asset of Local Interest, dates to 1933, a work by Falguera and Vilaseca. The 2010-2015 renovation, led by Josep Lluís Mateo, preserved its original skeleton, with perforated slat facades regulating natural light. A two-story underground expansion for logistics and parking solidifies its urban and functional relevance.
