In the urban fabric of Poblenou, the Casal de Barri Vila Olímpica - Can Gili Nou stands as a testament to the district's evolution. Built between 1877 and 1880 as the Can Gili Nou flour mill, its architecture blends solid brick with stone facades, reflecting its industrial origin. This space, listed as a local heritage asset, has transitioned from factory production to cultural articulation. Since 2010, one of its naves has housed a public civic center, invigorating the neighborhood with a program of workshops, exhibitions, and community activities, preserving historical memory in its contemporary pulse.
