Santiago Auserón returns to Barcelona with ‘Nerantzi’, his exploration of Greek tradition. After rock, Cuban son, and Afro roots, Auserón dives into 20th-century rebétiko, Mediterranean ballad, and original songwriting. Accompanied by Theodoros Karellas (guitar) and Vaggelis Tzeretas (bouzouki), he offers an intimate, renewed dialogue, featuring his own compositions and Spanish adaptations of popular Greek songs. An unfiltered Mediterranean sound.

THE VENUE
At Rambla del Poblenou 42, the Casino de l'Aliança del Poblenou stands as a cultural landmark in Sant Martí. Founded in 1869 as a recreational, social, and mutual aid entity, its current eclectic and neoclassical-inspired headquarters was completed in 1944, designed by Amadeu Llopart. Beyond its architectural merit, it's been a vital hub for neighborhood life, pioneering initiatives like the first private savings bank and local library. Its iconic Grand Hall, featuring a tilting auditorium floor and a cork ceiling for distinctive acoustics, hosts a program spanning theatre, dance, and music, cementing its role as a cultural driving force in Poblenou.
