Antoni Tàpies proposed in "El joc de saber mirar" a continuous exercise: training the gaze for deeper understanding. A perception transcending immediacy, capable of broadening our field of vision. This cycle, curated by Carolina Ciuti, revives the essence of that proposal. The starting point is the work Mitjó, and the controversy it generated. A holed sock, initially rejected for its apparent lack of dignity to represent Catalan culture, eventually placed on the Foundation's terrace. A defiant gesture. PLANNS presents this dossier as a collective perception training. A space where word, sound, and matter activate to challenge conventions and explore new ways of inhabiting the museum. From the everyday object to the symbol, from the institution to resonance. A route through the expanded gaze.
