On Ronda de Sant Antoni, Fàbrica Moritz embodies Barcelona's brewing legacy, dating back to 1856. The 2011 renovation, led by Jean Nouvel, blends 19th-century industrial architecture with contemporary design. Materials like exposed brick and wrought iron coexist with glass and steel. The basement reveals sections of ancient city walls and an air-raid shelter. Today, the space serves as a cultural and gastronomic hub, featuring a microbrewery, fine dining, and a dynamic event program in the Eixample.
